    Who was best defensive boxer Whitaker or mayweather I say Pernell Whitaker???

    Stylistically they are not even close. Although May was very quick himself, I think Pea edged him in that department and made use of his reflexes to avoid a lot of hits. May for me was the more technically sound and shows why he was able to have more longevity. Mayweathers fundamentals gets my nod, but either guy is a nightmare for 99.9% of boxers
