Heard alot on here recently about "lets not get hyped up about Degale hes beat no1" "hes beat a poor Paul Smith" and all this shite.

i believe both Degale and Gavin are hyped up alot on here, but people only get criticised for hyping up Degale, and the argument behind this is that he has beaten no1. However, who has Gavin beat for people to say hes gonna be a world beater??

Theres no question in my mind that both of them can be future world champions but i will reserve my judgement and not get too excited about any of em until i see them come up against some1 who tests them, and brings the best out of them, if anything Degale has had the tougher tests so far, yet people say stop hyping him up, Yet no mention of Gavin, who has fought no1.

    Discuss.....

P.S Please don't say Michael Lomax was a test for Gavin. He looked unsteady on his feet never mind actually throwing punches. Looked scared to death.

Nobody on here is saying Gavin would beat Khan or Bradley. Plenty of people on here are saying DeGale would beat Dirrell.

But khan and Bradley are good, dirrell sucks his only win is Abraham (who sucks) and he was on his way to getting sparked by abraham

So you think Froch is **** then. Dirrell beat him whether you like it or not. I'm not going down this road again with you.

On his way getting sparked by Abraham? **** off! Do you think Vitali was on his way to beating Lewis aswell? What a stupid thing to say.

I think Abraham would have gotten Dirrell out of there in the last round.

Sure, it's one pretty bold prediction, but Whiny was beginning to unravel and took the easy route out - one that AA shouldn't really have given him.

Froch beat Dirrell. He was the one actually trying to fight as opposed to break track records or have a cuddle.

As for the topic, Lomax was a decent replacement on a week's notice (or whatever is was) - actually probably better than the original opponent they had lined up. Really he needs to be put in with a top fighter next, Brook :hey or one of the title holders at 140 like Theophane. Anything less than that is a waste of everyone's time.... doesn't achieve anything.

Chunky has world class ability and so does Frankie, I think Frankie will be the hardest to beat as he's the hardest to hit.. However I still see both getting to the top.. Chunky is not ready for Dirrell, he will be come another 12 months though.. I keep saying it but 201 1 is Frankies year imo... ;)

Until either accept my challenge they can't be classed as credible :yep

Anyway Gavin gets just as many skeptics as DeGale it's just more constructive with him due to the fact he comes across well unlike DeGale

Both are talented fighters, Gavins talent was pretty clear from the off and I can see him going all the way with the proper managment etc. Same with DeGale, his win over Smith was a great victory and considering his lack of experience I think it was a cracking learning curve.

British Boxing was looking a bit gloomy when Calzaghe retired and Hatton was on the downslide but the future is looking rosie nowadays :)

I saw on Twitter (I know, i know) Arnie and Theopane having a barny about Theopane fighting you, Theopane sounded like he just didn't want it and was saying stuff like wait 14 months etc. If you're going for the hard fights no one would blame you mate, you cant force someone to step in the ring with you.
