He's a ****, always has been, likely always will be. He's got some skills but his arrogance is gonna cost him sometime soon. I bet he doesn't even train properly, hence his woeful stamina.

Funky cold Medina outworked Chunky and deserved the win imo. It was close but St the end of the day, landing 2 or 3 crisp shots dosen't undo eating 20+ close range shots per round imo. **** score cards and the commentators were calling Degales shot that weren't landing. As someone already mentioned, boxing fans have been conditioned over time to accept corruption as the norm.
You guys heard how Degale talks, now listen to Fury, Khan, Kell, Groves, Haye, Selby or pretty much any fighter from the UK. They all talk the same way. They are full of themselves. That's not a bad thing up to a point but they just over do it.
I don't mind DeGale but he did not cover himself in glory at all here. He was also a prat in the interview after the fight. He does have this chinnable quality, in that at times I'd quite like to see him get chinned.
DeGale has always been a terrible loser. I know he didn't lose last night but he really struggled against Medina and he didn't look good at all and he knows it, hence why he's being so defensive. Look at how he reacts to the decision going against him in these fights of his from the amateurs. James Degale is one of the most deluded fighters Britain has ever produced. In his own mind he has this Mayweather like level of defence that he claims his opponents can't/don't penetrate when in reality he gets shots bounced off his dome left and right. What he does possess however is a great chin.
The "sticking out the tongue" comes across as being a bit juvenile but I just assume he is trying to get under his opponent's skin. He doesn't seem to be a very gracious person though.
