i've just read that degale wants the british title by end of the year and with paul smith the champ who wins this? smith is a decent fighter but can be scrappy at times and detgale had it easy upto now. i think smith might be able to grind out a points win against degale at the moment. who you pick to win?

im not sold on degale yet and smith is limited, would be a good scrap but i could see degale getting his hand raised at the end of it.

Degale has too much for him IMO.

I would even go as far as to say it will be a mid to late stoppage in degales favour.

I hate saying this because i'm not a Smith fan, but I think he handles DeGale quite easy at this stage.

I think Groves vs Smith could be a tough entertaining fight but DeGale would be far too much for either man...DeGale wins this with ease.

smith will vacate. degale will fight for the vacant title against anderson or quigley.

I think Warren will get Smith to vacate when the time comes for Degale to fight for the British. Smith will probably want to win the belt outright first. Smith's a good fighter, at this stage he'd probably beat Degale. Im just confused at why Warren has Smith fighting a pointless fight against some guy. He needs some big names now.

For Smith - Move on to european or world title. nobody defends the british more than 3-4 times.

For Warren - Easy route to the title for DeGale. Can make money from 2 fighters instead of 1.

DeGale comfortably on points or by late stoppage
