Good post Ray. Both Clottey or Quintana would be good, but especially the rubber match idea....cause I've seen a lot of ass holes sayin' that first round KO was kind of "fluke" and stuff. I wouldn't mind seein' Paul set those dudes straight.:good

Bottom line, if this is NOT a ploy (as suggested by Boo earlier in the thread to get team Williams riled up) by Leow, then Paul has every right and should without question go get paid fightin' somebody.:deal

I don't know to much about staph infections but what I've come to find out is that when ever you have an upcoming fight date you get a flare up or something!!!!

 

If pavlik was smart he would sit out and fight winky after winky fights that guy from the contendor... Try to blow out winky and call out paul after in hopes to make an even bigger mega match... If I was on pauls team I would set him up with a fight that he will no doubt win... Just to get his name further out ther, keep him sharp, and let the 147-160 scene kind of sift its self out to see if any big opprotunities open up

 

Oh and as far as this situation goes.... Its sad to see that pavlik or someone in his crew would let him even sign his name on the contract... Real cornball ****... This guys been on the shelf for like one whole year... Wtf is going on... Not professional at all

 

i said this earlier...but as bad as i feel for pav, this sux for pw (for obvious reasons) but also b/c he deserves more than a stay busy fight, but that looks like what he'll have to settle with. he deserves to get paid. but unless ssm is REALLY serious about fighting anyone (i know ray, i know ), i just dont see a big payday out there for him.

 

I have injured fingers and taken a VERY LONG time to regain flexibility. My son just went through the same thing. Two weeks might be optimistic. I say heal and then deal. Let Pdub move on.

on the site where they take boxing to the max, its been reported that the Williams camp is zeroing in on Martinez for that Dec. 5 date...
