    only good but he had a great night in the second fight vs jones. i still don't know how he didn't win the first fight vs roy. all he had to do was move his hands. jones was a dead man in the ring but tarver let roy out-hustle him down the stretch.

    good, if he didn't beat Jones, I don't think there would be any debate.

    He's good but far from great. He is another athlete/style who I admire in his prime. This series seems show a fighter who can hold their own against great fighters for a period in their career.
    When Tarver fought Hopkins I was looking at their performance and athletic conditions and pretty much in awe. Two elite athletic specimens in any sport code going to battle. I'm not saying it was close fight but impressive sight to see.

    Always wanted a Taylor/Tarver fight from that generation, we never got to see it unfortunately.

    He blew his chance at greatness. I do genuinely believe he had the talent to do it.
