Let's flip this around. The only way to present evidence they aren't ducking him is to sign a contract and fight. Other than, if there is no signed deal with a fight date, people can assume they are ducking him all they want.
There's some truth to what the OP says. They built Golovkin up as a guy who would fight anybody from 154-168. That has since been revised to him being a guy who will fight anyone from 154-168 as long as they are completely overmatched and/or represent a big payday. There's an article on the scene titled "Gennady Golovkin's promoter on facing James DeGale". Without even opening the article I already knew that Loeffler was going to say something to the effect that Degale didn't bring enough money to the table. Golovkin is a really good fighter, the best at MW. However, this whole notion that everyone is afraid to fight him is overblown.
