I do think this was a fight that Froch in an ideal world would have liked to have taken. However, being so near to the end of his career I think he feared what damage it would do to his reputation if he did get battered in his last fight.

Froch was at the Golovkin vs Lemiuex fight. Froch told Loefller that he would only fight at 172. Cant make 168 anymore.
Of course they didn't want Froch. Only the mentally incapable losers cheering on this fraud would actually believe he wants serious challenges. All GGG and his team want is to feast on as many bums as possible.
There is a chance I missed this gem of a post yesterday, but I think I may have seen it. I think you are sincere and ironic in your praise, or sincerely ironic or ironic sincere, the point being I do not conditionally accept such flattery on face value, yet I do not dismiss this post in my lack of approval. I hope that might clear the air on some things.
Froch was scared of both losing and winning against Golovkin. I suspect he would not fancy a draw either, but the jury is out on that one. Maybe he was not scared at all. It's possible he wanted the fight or maybe he wanted it but didn't take it or did not want it and did not take it. Sometimes that's the deal breaker, sometimes.
Froch may not have had any advantages, except for some advantages if not all the advantages. The same goes for Golovkin.
@doc...that's only for ppv fights.... which we know aren't a big success for ggg and hbo...so they wont be running too many of those in the near future
