I might be Golovkin's best friend, any evidence I have to prove this is subjective and open to interpretation, so you can believe me or not, if so, I will continue. Golovkin told me he would fight Ward at a future date if not, some time sooner if at all, it depends if Ward will agree and if he agrees to the same terms, they weren't sure. I talked to Hunter, I won't call him a liar, but what he said was not completely true if not false or true. I may have lied to him and said that about GGG or I could have been sarcastic if I said it all to him, I don't remember. That is if I am the friend he is refering to.
Do you understand what a positive claim is? It is not an opinion which is subjective but a claim asserted as fact. When you make a positive claim it is up to you to prove it is fact. It is not up to others to prove you are wrong. You have no proof the guy is GGGs best friend. All you have is hearsay. You do realise that this neither proves or disproves whether he is Golovkin's best friend and it also neither proves or disproves that Golovkin told him that he is ducking or not ducking Ward. I'm on the fence over who is ducking who out of Ward or Golovkin, but this is the weakest piece of "evidence" I have seen in this whole argument. That is very impressive when you consider some of the ridiculously wild and unobjective claims that you see on this board.
It would be odd for Virgil Hill to lie about such a thing anyways. It's not even something that's that bad for ggg really. ggg basically gave a corporate answer to his supposed best friend giving said supposed friend the impression that ggg doesn't really want the fight. That isn't something I would do though to my friends and these athletes are candid away from the spotlight so I can understand the suspicion. That video could be spun any number of ways but is consistent with ggg's team just not wanting that fight. When I hear his team talk about how Ward doesn't bring in enough of a fanbase and money, that's code for, "we can avoid him and nobody will care". Except, hardcore boxing fans do care, at least the ones who care about the history of boxing, and legacy. There's a reason why somebody like Sugar Ray Leonard is still talked about and revered 30 years later.
