What do you mean, the lateral movement was not that bad and Henry boxed a lot in the first part of the fight, probably why he started slow, anyway he can beat Johnson but it would be hard.If he was exposed by Henry, then Dawson got exposed by Johnson

I responded to a guy claiming that Dawson has a glass jaw cause Johnson hurt him, and you responded to my response saying that Johnson isn't such a big puncher :nut
Anyway, if that's your opinion then we don't disagree :thumbsup

Firstly Slick, Diaconu had strep, but was still confident in beating Henry which he did. Diaconu laid counters on Henry at will the entire fight.....another thing that would be silly not to take into consideration is overtraining....Dawson had him training for a fight that shouldve happened twice but never did.....I agree by the end of the fight he looked spent, but these are easily attributed to the above listed reasons....Adi will be going into the Bronco fight fresh, ready and properly trained. So if the Bronco fight reaches the 12th round(which I doubt) and Adi somehow looks as spent as he was with Henry I will face the fact then that he has a stamina problem but for now I give him the benefit of the doubt, again for the above listed reasons:good

Ahem. The KO percentage is based on fights WON, not all of a fighter's bouts :blood

Henry is not normally a boxer, and he had to go out of his game and do something that he hasn't done up to that point, and he had success at doing it because every time he would simply let his hands go, he would have success. I must admit that he wasn't exposed though, i went a bit far.:p

Henry was the first to take him to deep waters, but i must admit that he was inactive as well so that MAY have had something to do with it, but while Dawson's chin is questionable, he showed in the Johnson fight that he can fight fast paced and has great stamina. He has a new conditioning coach and even looks a lot more muscular. I talked to Chad on myspace at the end of last month and he told me that he was already close to being on weight for the Tarver fight, and in training him and Eddie are coming up with the perfect game plan and that training is going great, everything is coming into place. If he beats Tarver, then he and Diaconu would probably unify their titles.

Yeah, you should, just some advice: Don't try bashing Calzaghe or PBF, THEY'll jump on you like wolves :!:

You gotta take into consideration Diaconu was sick, had a 11 month layoff, had over 6 months of training(overtrained),he was thinking that his dad might die cuz he was diagnotized with cancer I believe, there were plenty of problems to consider and that's why he looked tired at the end.And no,after Dawson beats Tarver and Diaconu beats Branco(which both will probably happen) they will not unify cuz the WBC mandates 2 fights for Diaconu:Branco and Johnson, maybe after that:good

Even though i bash Calzaghe's resume sometime ,he and Mayweather are two of my favorite fighters. I just don't like what Floyd and Calzaghe did toward the end of their career's. Floyd for not fighting the best at 147 and Calzaghe for sneaking into the hall of fame by beating past their prime legends and blowing it up like they were even close to prime. If he had went out fighting Pavlik and Mayweather went out fighting Margarito or Cotto, then i wouldn't have a problem.

I'm glad to have found a Dawson fan I can converse with maturely:happy Alot of people pass Adi off as a euro bum. But the reality is is that when Adi is on the attack he resembles a prime Tyson...lets stop bullshitting ourselves....this style resemblance is necessitated somewhat by the short height...but Adi has the power.....the timing and probably the better chin...Timing is the reason I feel Adi has the advantage over Dawson(not to mention power)Where Johnson is a straightforward 1-2 kind of fighter, Adi is constantly studying, and measuring his opponent, and setting up the counter, which is why I feel Adi is Dawsons kryptonite
The fact is this is a fight both Diaconu and Dawson need to fight...Dawson needs to prove those whiskers and Diaconu needs to prove he's not JUST a puncher....It's also a fight WE need and hopefully we'll get as the old dogs are on their way out and eventually the division will be dominated by Dawson and Diaconu:deal
    Cheers

Mature conversations are a two way street, your discussions involving Dawson generally result in petty slander on your part, as opposed to anything resembling technical boxing analysis.
