I hope he has a few more fights, Chagaev would be perfect or Valuev, he has to get that other belt, it depends on how much Chagaev can duck both K's

Vitali will first fight Gomez (and beat him via late rounds KO in THE FOTY at Heavyweight) and then will fight the winner of Valuev - Chagaev...

i really doubt that. vit has 1 year to fight JCG. there are way bigger fights out there like Valuev and Haye.

    Povs/Wlad will top Vitali/JCG.

    Is Ruslan still fighting?

Personally I think his retirement road should be:

    The mando against JCG
    A unification fight with Valuev
A fight against power punching lard ass Chris Arreola
A good bye fight against either David Haye (depending on whether or not Haye can make a splash at HW) OR Andrew Golota for the money

But Valuev has a fight coming up in December and then he has to rematch Chagaev, so he is tied up for a while and I don't even know if his backers are that eager on unification. Gomez is a reasonable choice for now, he is mandatory, very beatable but still a decent name to have on your record.

Are we REALLY figuring that fight to come off?

I don't see it happening and I'm a big fan of Ruslan.

And there is a story behind the fight (at least one, German TV will make a big one out of it)....

Vitali, himself, said after the fight it was too soon to say if he'd continue or not, but he then said that there was one more title that he and his brother didn't yet have.

    I KNEW IT!

Vitali wants Valuev! Make the fight happen.

If not, can Chris Byrd or Lennox come back? I doubt it, but Vitlai should ask nicely.
