    He had the talent to beat every man Ali faced but I think in all likelihood he pics up a loss or two like everyone else did in that period. That was a ferocious schedule that Ali went through and against some of the best heavies ever. While I consider Joe Louis to be as great as Muhammad Ali, neither man managed to go unbeaten in their respective eras and both had some close calls against lesser opposition as well

    I could see him finding a way to win against that tough competition. He also proved he could perform regularly and for many years…he and Ali were unusually active for heavyweight champions.
