    Never seen this. Jack Dempsey looked solid even when older. You can see glimpses of his great head movement and infighting though the speed is obviously gone. Great footage.

    Prime Dempsey wastes these dudes. Cool seeing the Old Master showing his attacking style and skillful infighting.

    Wow I’ve been searching for 20 years for this. I had seen it many years ago but was never able to find it again. I wonder which fights these were for. Might have been for first Louis fight. But really odd to think he was in with top guys after so many years out of the game. It would be like if a Kiltchkco jumped in the ring with Usyk while he was training to fight Fury.

    Both clips were to publicize the Schmeling-Baer fight. Dempsey had a substantial interest in the promotion of the fight, as well as owning a share of Baer's contract

    I think I read that when he was touring Germany doing public exhibition, a 16 year-old Schmeling jumped in to go a few rounds, took liberties, and Jack knocked him out.

    It has been decades since I read the story, though, so I could be getting it all wrong.
