Says it has to be a name someone has heard of- not many fit that criteria for casual fans of heavyweight right now. I would say Ruiz, Ortiz, are the only two names outside of top guns like Fury, Usyk, Joshua.

Would be interesting. I see Ruiz being brutally KO'd.

The logical opponent for Wilder is Andy Ruiz. They have the same manager (Haymon) and the fight would make a decent amount of money. Ruiz is easy to hit, and Wilder despite his limitations is a very hard puncher.

It's possible his handlers might choose a weaker opponent, as they so often have in the past - but at this point it wouldn't make any sense.

It has to be a name, but being Wilder it also has to be a name that's not really threatening at all.

Expect Bryan/Charr/Martin type opponents, possibly even a Dubois - either way, it'll be an easy one, which you'd expect for a guy that's coming off two damaging beatdowns.... Problem is thereafter it'll be back to gatekeepers and journeymen again anyway, Wilder never fancied contenders in the peak of his confidence and he's unlikely to start now.

I'd like it to be (unrealistically) Ruiz or Sanchez but Wilders team know he would lose to them (unless Haymon feels like cashing in on Wilder now).

Even the young potential guys like Dubois and Anderson Wilder would duck. Wilder team would probably view Helenius too tough of a challenge.

Unfortunately I think it will be either Kownacki, Byran or Ajagba.

Jason Gavern or Charles Martin. Ideally I would like to see Audley Harrison rematch to see A-Force get his revenge.

I wouldn't begrudge him fighting somebody like Charles Martin. Enough of a test that it's interesting but a fight he should win easily assuming Fury hasn't ruined him.

Martin in March and then one of the matchroom boys in the summer. That'd be cool.
