Rounds 1 - 4 The fight is very cagey, Fury is nicking the rounds by flicking out the jab and using lateral movement. Wilder tries a few right hands but misses by miles and Fury showboats laughing at the missed right hands. Rounds 5 - 8 Wilder starts taking more risks and lands a right hand that clips Fury as he is leaning back. Wilder jumps all over him going crazy windmill style, Fury goes down off a clubbing right hand to the back of the head. Fury spends the next few rounds holding and surviving as Wilder tries to finish him, but Fury manages to survive. Rounds 9 - 12 Fury changes his tactics and puts up a high guard and walks to Wilder, trying to smother his shots. The fight becomes a scrappy maul fest and Fury is starting to push Wilder back and hurt him with body shots. Wilder fights him off in windmill bursts but Fury is now pushing him back having success. Most fans and pundits have a draw or Fury winning by a point or 2. Wilder wins by spilt decision. Team Fury cry robbery. They rematch in the summer. The end
If Wilder somehow wins a decision it would be something like this I figure. But I stand by my prediction Wilder winning by come from behind KO in the mid rounds.
If this goes to the cards then Fury is absolutely getting robbed, including getting a draw. Espinoza and Showtime cannot afford 2 PPVs that bomb back to back.
Fury will get windmill'd out of it by round 6-7. As soon as Wilder lands flush, Tyson does a silly dance and Wilder will jump on him. Could happen anytime. But I think Wilder will be careful for a couple of rounds. I'd love to see Tyson win by a KO. But he don't seem to have much pop. Only one outcome for me. Wilder by KO.
This will go like most of Wilder's other fights. He gets out boxed, Fury is on top and dominant for round after round. One moment of concentration lapse and Wilder lands that big RIGHT. 45 seconds later Tyson Fury is stopped and Wilder is the winner. This content is protected This content is protected
Personally I think the only way Fury wins is by stoppage. If it goes 12 he will get caught at some point and unless he's lucky and it's right at the end of the round i dont see him surviving it. I think a stoppage win is unlikely too, but I do think Wilder is a bit fragile and lightweight so there's a small chance Fury can do something similar to the Cunningham fight and take him out in dirty fashion.
Cards will favor the 'home' or more profitable fighter if needed, they always do. As per Fury-McDermott
Fury will time Wilder on to a beautiful right hand at some stage throughout the fight, wilder cannot hold a punch and Fury will smother hit and the ref will stop it. Can also see Furys body punches causing huge problems for Wilder. I think out of all the current heavyweights, Fury is the hardest to hit - so should be interesting.
I want to see Wilder do the funny dance. I also want to see Fury make a complete and utter fool of him when he wildly swings in with zero coordination. If Wilder loses, he will be begging both Whyte and Hearn for that £5m payday that he previously rejected...
I agree wilders chin is suspect, he’s never been put in with a puncher and didn’t fight anyone with remotely any strength until stiverne (who isn’t a big puncher either), I sera Cunningham style knockout from fury. A lil but of holding and a dirty knockout from a clinch
