Same for me. The Ruiz loss is just too big to ignore for me to put Joshua back at #1. Going into 2020, it's Wilder #1, Joshua #2, Fury #3.
I am an AJ fan but despite his good resume, he took a beating in June despite getting the W back. Number 1 heavy is Wilder or Fury depending on preference
AJ number 1 for me on the basis of more depth to his resume. Fury has the best single win but it carry’s less weight with time and the Wilder “draw” was a win to most objective observers. Wilder’s best win is Ortiz, who while talented hasn’t done much as a pro and is ancient. Ortiz is mostly known for outboxing Wilder before getting knocked out twice. Now AJ has comprehensively beaten Ruiz I think he has to be put back where he was. He’s shown it was a blip. AJ is number one, wilder 2 on the basis he has the WBC and Fury wasn’t given the win. Fury a close third mainly on H2H ability and the fact he drew with Wilder on the scorecards when he wasn’t even fully fit.
