Just waiting on Campbell to be matched in a 60/40 fight in his favour then I am pouncing on the outsider. Hopefully Derry does not derail the Powder puff man tonight but it would be funny.
That fight was a lot more even than I expected. Take away the finish and there was not a lot in it. Which is not particularly good news for Campbell. Derry did well in my opinion.

I didn't say he was dominant, but it certainly wasn't evens. Campbell won every round. Yet he was planning this fight for the longer haul, so him winning every single round early is in itself very impressive. Like I say if you saw another fight then good luck to ya.
Lol Campbell was winning every round up until that vicious body shot. Don't understand why people on here are so reluctant to give Campbell any credit.
Tough man is Derry, done well to get up from the 1st body shot... then after taking a number of shots on the ropes he came firing back but unfortunately got nailed with another one to the body. Solid performance and win from Campbell, showed great shot selection and those body shots were top class.
I said it was 'more even than I expected'. I thought Campbell was better than he showed last night. Read slowly. Maybe that would help. Derry was definitely in the fight all the way until the finish. Campbell did not really impress me last night. If Campbell is purporting to be top level he should have been doing a lot better than that.
Quite right, he won every round and put his guy down 3 times inside 4 rounds. Campbell was sh!t. Fecking idiot.
To be honest, if Campbell wants to be seen as a world title contender, he really shouldn't be fighting a shot Derry at the age of 29 or at this stage of his career. I like Campbell, he's a talent, but I just don't see him fulfilling that talent at the highest level. Still too upright and amateur in style, for me. Rubio is working on that, but these traits are ingrained and hard to replace.
