Finally it seems to be official that Andreas Kotelnik(the man who beat Maidana and lost to Khan) is the next opponent for the WBC/IBF champion. The bout is in St. Louis on August 7th, it will be the first fight in 13 months for Kotelnik(31-3-1, 13 KO'S) at the time he faces Alexander(20-0, 13 KO'S).

Can't reaqlly complain. Had 2 pretty difficult and dangerous fights. Kotelnik won't cause Devon too many problems i'd doubt but he's still top 10 at 140 so it's a decent fight whilst he awaits bigger fish

While Alexander takes Kotelnik Khan should take Urango, swap opponents and then we compare who done better.

If Kotelnik fought last July, it will be 13 months after fighting Khan AT THE TIME HE FACES ALEXANDER.

You really think that this is a great matchup?

Kotelnik has limited skills but it is better then a tomato can as it goes.

Lines will run -400 or higher opening....

Keep busy fight. I don't understand why Bradley doesn't fight him. Do they have different promoters?

This is a perfectly respectable opponent. Does Bradley or Khan want to rumble next? If they do, I've not been shown that. If they don't, then this is a perfectly respectable opponent.
