C'mon.... did you see Diaz's face? It was a ****in' wreck. I like Nick Diaz, but he lost. On his way stomping back to the locker room, he couldn't even open his left eye, and his right eye was bleeding directly into the eyeball.
Congrats to Noons, good looking stand up and TD defense, although Diazs takedowns kinda looked like ****. I cant stand Diaz and I had a feeling this wasnt gonna be his night, so I was very happy Noons won. The funniest part was in the Post Fight Interview when Noons said now that he is a MMA champ, next he is gonna be the champ in boxings 154 division, and I believ he mentioned Oscar and Floyd as guys he would beat. I couldnt stop laughing.
Make no mistake, that was just scar tissue being re-opened. It's not like KJ Noons was David Loiseau here. The only decent shot he hot Diaz with was a knee and maybe one right hand. Diaz was gonna get cut regardless and if a fighter is game, allow him the opportunity to prove himself as in the Gomi fight. Don't get it twisted by looking at the pics.
