This fight was entertained at one time in the mid 60s, but never happened. What do you all think of this match? It might not be a great fight, but I would have been interested to see it happen. While I think Tiger was a better fighter, LMR was probably capable of outboxing Tiger they way Giardello and Tiger were, but Tiger has a good chance. Another 50/ 50 imo.
Provided they are at their best I think Rodriguez. His style is all wrong for Tiger. The Rodriguez who busted up but then walked into a shot by Benvenuti was all but shot. The Rodriguez from a few years earlier would be moving too much and too busy and pile up the points and win.
