Plenty of his fights on youtube, I'm gonna watch some later. I don't know too much about him apart from he was a 160 and 175 pound champ. What his best win? What was his level of competition like? What would you desribe his style as? Would he be considered as a top 10-15 middleweight ot lightheavy?

    Thanks

    What his best win?

He had a good few top wins IMO, at every stage of his career. He destroyed Pat McAteer to win the Empire title and this really established himself as a top Middleweight, as McAteer was very highly regarded.
His wins over Fullmer are good, but I prefer the fourth fight with Giardello, as it was a masterful display by Tiger, showing his offensive arsenal but also his boxing IQ.

His two wins over Jose Torres are also very good, but they are totally different. One shows Tiger boxing quite smartly and the other is a war.

What was his level of competition like?

Very, very good. He competed, and was the top dog, in one of the deepest Middleweight divisions of all time. He has wins over guys like Giardello, Fullmer, Carter, McAteer etc... and ruled very dominantly.

He also stepped up to Light-Heavyweight and had some big wins there, mainly the two over Torres. But the division was not as deep as Middleweight was, and Foster soon ripped the titles from him.

What would you desribe his style as?

A sort of pressuring counter-puncher, who stalked his opponents made them make mistakes then let go with hard shots or combos.

P.S his fight with Henry Hank is a superb contest

How many champions/ex-champions/future champions and all that did Tiger beat? He's up there, isn't he?
