Fought Ray Leonard and lost a UD.

Only saw his name because I'm watching a documentary from 1993 or 1995 called "High on Crack Street" and apparently he had a big crack problem.

    Any news on him?

(I've not finished the documentary, so if something happened, I don't know yet.)

    I guess he's Mickey Ward's brother?

I saw him fight Dave Green ,he had quick hands and good fundamentals, not a great deal of power but a solid fighter I beleive he is Mickey Ward's stepbrother , and worked his corner .

Either stepbrother or half brother. He worked Ward's corner until his first layoff.

According to Wiki, Ecklund has been busted for crack a few times, and he got busted (I believe) earlier this year.

You must of saw them all McVey at The Albert Hall and Wembley Conference Centre. I grew up watching all them fighters on Sportsnight or Grandstand or sometimes listening to them on the radio. Minter, Finnegan(Kevin), Frankie Lucas, Sibson, Green, Maurice Hope, John L Gardner, Charlie Magri. I think you go back a bit further .
