Cotto had a worse cut against Clottey.. Devon straight up wimped out.

I don't know whether it's cos of a lack of heart or maybe tactics, maybe he thought he was up on the cards.

Dunno how he'd think that though with his **** jab

It was so obvious the question doesnt really need to be asked, clearly wanted a way out. Bradley, Khan or Maidana would never quit like that.

Pontiac is in the same vicinity where Dirrell grew up.Perhaps it's in the water.Alexander quit like a dog-just like Michigans Dirrell.

Seriously, you guys are all idiots.

Circumstances change situations. He just got nailed in the face for about the 6th or 7th time from Bradley. Bradley jerked his head into Devon's face the last time. He looked like his eyes hurt, you weren't there, you weren't him.. you were sitting behind your PC or sitting on your couch watching.

Who the **** are all you guys to question his heart? At least he has gotten in the 22 times.

Why do you guys hate the sport and the fighters who fight so much?

I never like alexander for some reason, i dunno why maybe his voice or somethin however i have been hit in the eye where i cant open it even though its not swollen or cut. just all the nerves are reacting forcing him to shut his eye as a natural way to protect itself. Not saying its the case but it happens. Either way bradley had the win and got me some cash so im glad all in all haha

I hate to dis boxers like this and call out their heart, or lack there of, but it really seemed that Devon quit last night. After the last headbutt, he ran straight to the corner and started screaming. The ring doc takes a look at it, asking him questions, and Devon just keeps screaming and saying it 'stings'. He's able to open his eyes, but won't respond to the doc's questions. Also he gives NO indication that he wants to continue. He could have said 'I can't see, just give me a moment, I want to continue', or 'there's something in my eye, I just need a moment so I can see, I want to continue, don't stop the fight' or something to that extent. But no, he said nothing of that nature, actually nothing at all. To me, being this is a unification fight and a fight that can bring stardom and a potential fight with Khan and later Pacquiao, I would have done anything to continue, and especially not let it be stopped and go to the cards. Once the doc did stop the fight Devon didn't protest at all. I remember when the Lewis-Klitschko fight was stopped and Vitali threw a fit! Nothing like that last night. I don't know, just seems suspsect.

BTW I like Devon and was rooting for him last night, was very disappointing for me...Thoughts...

I think the cut in the 3rd bother him and took complete focus from him ,I seen this happen to many fighters and going into the ring knowing that Bradley last 4 fighters had headbutts can get to you mentally.

he definately got headbutted but it was probably a little pain which he exagerated, usually a warrior would never quit and would of argued with the docotor to continue, but he never said he was okay to carry on and he was alright after 2 minutes,

Yea he was done and called it a night.

Even Don King said that Alexander could have and should have fought on.

This poll is very telling. I would've never thought we had 15 blind boxing fans here at ESB.
