Did Greb and Walker

Have a brawl after their title fight? Greb sucesfully defended his middleweight title against Walker that night and according to legend ran into Walker at a nightclub afterwards and they had a street brawl with some saying Walker won and others Greb. Thing is Greb later recanted his story and Walker and manager Doc Kearns versions didn't match. So how did the rumor get started?
