Jospeh Parker fight could’ve have gone way he could’ve lost vs chorisa who isn’t a top 10 heavyweight I think Luis Ortiz would’ve beaten him

Whyte most likely knew Ortiz would beat his fat azz. Glad to see Whyte get smoked. By a single shot at that.

Don’t jump ship now. Whyte was on good run and his Lone loss was a good action fight with Joshua. He was the favorite tonight, younger, bigger but lost to the better fighter.

I just saw the fight. What an insane KO. I don't think this fight is that bad for Whyte. Honestly, it looks terrible to get KTFO out of nowhere, but it's really better than getting dominated like Wilder did for example. He can definitely bounce back. It's heavyweights.

He just got smug for one moment and he paid for it. Whyte is still a top-ten HW. He beat Parker and Chisora, who haven't lost to many other fighters.

He beat Parker and Chisora, yes.
But if he didn't illegally headbutt Parker he would have lost and scraping by Chisora is nothing to brag about. This is the same Chisora that Kabayel beat.

    That's true.

I miss the exceptionally high standard of opponent Wladimir Klitschko relentlessly took on. Those bouts against, Sultan Ibragimov, Jean Marc Mormeck, Calvin Brock, Ray Austin, Hasim Rahman, Francesco Pianeta, Alex Leapai etc. were epics. All were big, skilled and had youth on their side - in the prime of their career!

Never will another era be as electrifying. The build-up to the Alex Leapai bout is unforgettable.

Depends on your definition of over rated, he was never special and was shot a long time ago

He has one of the better resume's in the current division, if he's overrated then everyone is.

Parker fight was competitive but he won clearly in my opinion. He beat Chisora twice and beat undefeated Browne and Rivas. That's better than many in the division.

Whyte's a top 10 heavyweight for sure, he'd be favoured over most but he's fighting at his limit in terms of ability, Joshua beat him, Povetkin beat him and Fury would no doubt beat him. I even think Wilder beats him. I wouldn't rate him as one of the top guys but he's in the mix at the level below the Joshua's and Fury's of the division.

But having said all that he's vulnerable. That's twice we've seen him KO'ed by an uppercut. He has a bad habit for putting too much weight on the front foot, reaching/falling forwards and exposing himself to an uppercut. He also in general hunches over too much in close exposing himself to the uppercut that's how Rivas caught him too with an uppercut. Suffice to say Whyte is massively open to uppercuts that's a flaw all future opponents will look to exploit.

He is a strong, hard punching heavyweight that sits in the top 10 and will do for a long time. He wont ever be truly top tier and anyone with a modicum of boxing knowledge knows that.

He is exactly where he should be.

Agree, don't see why boxing fans ruin the sport for themselves by sticking an Overrated label on fighters after a loss. Dillians flaws makes him an exciting fighter, let's support him while he's down and in turn we'll get more exciting fights from him. Throwing him away just dilutes the already shallow talent pool

    Agreed.

It's one of the reasons why you dont get fighters taking risky fights because their management sees them as unmarketable.
