If a boxer earns a lot of money, he / she usually have a doctor attached who regularly takes blood tests and can guide them (based on these tests) so they avoid being caught for taking performance-enhancing drugs.
His not a wizard who has access to things that nobody else does. Plenty athletes think they can beat the tests and fail to do so.
Plenty of athletes caught doping had enough money to do what you say. It's far more plausible to just accept that AJ is clean.

very true. Most sports specific doctors still do not have expertise in PEDs though. There are only a few doctors who are experts. Many of them rely on bodybuilding-background advisers. Kerry Kayes was the first to really bring PED advice into boxing via Hatton and a few others. Remember one of the few times Gomez made weight and looked strong and smashed Arthur? Kayes did his cycle and diet for it. Before this they were just starving and dehydrating themselves. Jon Hotten's book Muscle is worth reading as Kayes talks about getting boxers in shape, although is not explicit about PEDs. I know boxers and BKBers who juice and are tested, they all pass sadly as they follow protocol and listen to the experts.
