Anybody else here excited about this fight? I find it to be an interesting little matchup and a nice bonus to the main event on Saturday. I know Oganov was taken to school against Zuniga but his perfect KO% still makes him an intriguing figure even if it came against subpar opposition.
Yeah it should be interesting. Of course the gap in skill level is huge and Dirrell should tap that arse. But he fights very defensive at times and he may know something about his chin that we dont yet. Oganov could show us...
You just said it . . . Zuniga already showed the blue print how to beat Oganov . . . expect Dirrel to study that fight and prepare a good battle plan. I'm expecting Dirrel to win by points . . . but I won't be suprised if he KO's Oganov.
I'm picking Dirrell to win by wide UD or possibly a late stoppage based on the gaps in speed and overall talent. But it wouldn't surprise in the least to see Oganov knock him out. Dirrell doesn't have the best chin and Oganov can end a fight with a single shot.
Interesting fight possibilities. Any KO artist is dangerous, but I see Dirrell winning this. This division SMW is the best right now. Bummer is one day down the road Dirrell may have to fight another good up and comer ,Andre Ward. Ward is a fine young man with mad skills. I believe both will be champions one day
feel bad for Oganov, he been misleaded in his carrier, fighting bums only, than suddenly thrown into deep waters Maybe even he believed that he is that good same stupid matchmaking in Curtis Stevens case These guys more of a victim of them idiotic management I expect Oganov receive a bad beating before he is going to get stopped
dirrel can get of 5 punches while oganov is still lining up his first. direll has good skils, oganov sadly has very little skill at all.
Very excited about this fight. Andre will need to be wary of Victor's power...but still let that jackhammer left go when the openings come.
I read an interview with Oganov that was done not too long ago and it seems to me that he's pretty grounded. Not cocky and not overly ambitious as far as fighters go. He did admit some managerial problems and he was very sound in his responses. Even spoke candidly about his amateur career, which wasn't that great. In other words, this is not a guy who's asking to be knocked out with his attitude like many of today's fighters. Quite the contrary actually. Oganov seems like a solid guy. I think Dirrell beats him but I wouldn't put any money on it.
