i'm rooting for Froch but the closer we get to the fight, the more nervous i become of his prospects of victory. he really needs a win here if he has kessler in denmark in the next round!

Dirrell win win this fight and he will look impressive doing it, he will see what Froch has to offer in the 1st few rounds and then he will start to put some mustard on his punches, or he may come in with a 12 round game plan but I think he can get Froch out of there alot earlier

    Dirrell TKO 5

What makes Dirrel so different from Jean Pascal? Speed? same Power? same Experience? similar again!!!

Dirrel will taste defeat. I'm hoping he's up for war. Pretty obvious Froch will be.

One of the reasons Froch will not be a long term player.

Lol. Findley already had two losses on his record (out of 15 fights) by the time he fought Dirrell. He doesn't provide much of a yard stick. Organov got beaten by the first bit of decent comp he came up against in Fulgencio Zuniga three fights prior to facing Dirrell. Hanshaw was coming off his first loss to RJJ when he fought Dirrell. Curtis Stevens had a loss on his record prior to meeting Dirrell and lets face it Dirrell had to stink the joint out to win that one. Beating these guys means very little indeed. I'm sticking to my original assessment of Froch by KO < 10. I hope you didn't really make that £500 bet Solid mate. :-(

He gonna be big alright. A big hype job and a big disappointment to those taken in by the smoke and mirrors.

Hanshaw is probably the most credible opponent Dirrell has fought. Don't watch him against Curtis Stevens, it'll put you to sleep (if the boos from the crowd don't keep you awake) :good

LOL its all good bro, Nar £500 is a bit steep for my cash flow at the moment but I did make a bet but a smaller one, not £500.

It's going to be a good fight no doubt, something gave me a little bit more confidence of Dirrell being able to do the job tomorrow, it's something I noticed about Froch which makes him susceptible to a certain type of punch but if Dirrell's camp has noticed this then we might be in for a very short night.

Also Froch is considerably slower than Hanshaw but he is more powerful. Hanshaw is a good fighter and he applied alot of pressure and Dirrell proved in that fight that he is alot tougher than what people give him credit for. It will be a tough fight for him and also for Froch but I think people are not giving him enough credit for how tough he is. And he can take a shot, dont be fooled by his chin.

    Dirrell TKO 5 :good

    :goodReasoned post.

I also think this comes down to who (out of the two) will best implement the needed defensive aspect of their game...somehow I don't think this will go done well for Froch..this was further emphasized when he described the new approach him and his one dimensional British trainer had been working on as, and I quote:

    "...Mayweather like (defense)"

Can't wait to see the robotic shoulder roll:rofl

Your Dirrell fans are going to be disappointed... valuing him on the back of unproven factors rather than what he's shown. All the intangibles seem to rest with Froch too.

It'll be competitive, but Froch is going to grind the kid down.

Didn't Harold Lederman say at the time that Dirrell-Stevens was the worst fight he'd ever seen?

Getting nervous there:think...pretty sure you said in previous posts that Dirrell will be an easy night for Froch.

I guess you're (that's how you spell it) one of the Stan fans of Froch who believe we will witness a Mayweather like defense from the robotic shoulders of Froch:lol:

Don't think I've ever said Froch would walk right through him - I've been predicting a stoppage win for Froch around 8 or 9. I think Dirrell will take the first 3-4 before he walks onto something and then Froch will grind him down.

Froch will be Froch, he'll take shots to land his own. I have no illusions about that - stop tarring everyone with the same brush as if it makes your point any better.
