Of course you guys know I love Marciano - I'm not about to deny that one.

I guess the main thing I'm wondering about is how he may, or may not, have evolved during his career. So:

    1) Offense - did this evolve over time, or did it remain stagnant during his professional career all the way up to championship and championship defense?

    2) Defense - did this evolve over time, or did it remain stagnant during his professional career all the way up to championship and championship defense?

As you have no doubt noticed, the questions are the same for both as both are important regarding any ATG HW champion.

The ball is in your court... so just how was Marciano able to remain undefeated as a pro? Did he stay the same from his first pro fight until his last, or did he change regarding ability over time?

Marciano was better on defense-much better-than he was given credit for. Some guys just "don't get no respect."Obviously, not much needs to be said about his offense. After Marciano knocked Archie Moore loopy in his last fight,Moore said:"He's got a long way to go,but he'll make it...

Rocco - of course both developed over the course of time you mention.
