Not a fan of Catterall and find him a boring watch but I totally agree with your analysis. Taylor was flat from the first bell to the last and Catterall won by a wide decision. Lost all respect for Taylor after his post fight interview - was a big fan before this fight.
Josh got schooled by Jack. It was so bad at times I can't really imagine Josh ever beating him unless it was just one of those days lol
really scrappy fight but Catterall clearly won majority rounds personally had it 116 110 to Catterall and they completely robbed him. Double punches landed. Even the judge who scored the fight for Catterall should be ashamed only by 1 round Disgusting and again I'm a huge Taylor fan but he was dominated tonight

I was/am a fan of Josh Taylor. I truly believed he was the UK best fighter we have had in years and believed him and Fury are the only current true elite British fighters on tge world stage. Maybe Taylor still is if he moves up ? I dunno. However if you believe there is even an argument that Taylor won that fight you are either being soo willfully obtuse or are so stupid its a form of miracle.

Catterall PROVED Two things last night... 1) that Boxing is a Lying effen joke and 2) he is yet further Proof, that Damn Near All TOP & Noted Fighters - GIVEN the Chance are Just as Capable of Winning a World Title. Where does Catterall go from here ? Let's be honest, he is a sight for sore eyes. His style is soo ****ing boring, I wouldn't watch him if he was fighting in my back garden, incredibly dull fighter/style. I can't see many champs giving him a call anytime soon.
I’m another who had it 8-4 Catterall plus a legit knockdown. Absolutely disgusting. Judges need to be held accountable and justify their scores. That fight wasn’t even debatable.

Actually pleased now that Taylor has got so little recognition for his achievements, similarly I hope he gets ripped apart at Welter and his career is forever remembered for that and this decision. No humility whatsoever.
