Who wins and how? Is it possible with this WBC belt one could go onto box for a version of a world title?

I fancy Stalker. I think his boxing ability will be a bit too much for Dodd. Tbf out of the two id rather see Dodd win, he comes accross as a real nice chap.
Is Stalker mandatory for the cwealth? Isnt stalker with wazza?

Points win either way. Can't see either having the power to k.o the over one.

No his last fight a defeat apparently was going to be Brogan v Dodd but Appleyard ruined that. Wanted a local derby, I think Stalker only with MTK now.

    Yeah looks like points

I have a soft spot for Dodd, he's actually quite a decent fighter, he moves around the ring pretty well, slipping shots. Shame he lacks that stoppage power. With every win he keeps surprising people though.

Strangely first time I ever saw him was national novice semi final and he looked a real puncher. As you say hasn't transferred to pro's

I think a lot of people do, myself included.

Will look forward to seeing him v Stalker in Sept.

I like both but I think Dodd might have a bit too much for Stalker. I didn't see Stalker's come back fight in Leicester but his 3rd with Evans he looked poor and like he just didn't want it enough. He's getting on for his weight and I would like to see him achieve maybe a European belt maybe but I'm not sure. It's a shame really because he clearly won the 1st/2nd (can't remember which) Evans fight so there would have been no need for the last one as he'd have progressed. His lack of power is costing him in fights, he does some beautiful work at times landing crisply and the opponent never flinches.

Really goes to show the professional game is very different, Dodd never laced up a glove until he was 24/25 and will probably go into this one a favourite against a former Olympic team captain.

Stalker has never really impressed me much. Maybe I'm leaning with my heart a bit too much but I think Dodd will probably beat him. That isn't with any real conviction mind you

I don't really like Stalker so I hope Dodd wins.
