good fight btw, but as someone said, he'd get destroyed if he steps above the domestic scene. i liked his lateral movement, but he's just not quick enough and its only going to work against stiff limited fighters like jones. not even sure if he could beat mcintyre, although i didn't see the first fight.
I have to say I had seen very little of Doherty before not even the MacIntyre fight. However, I really liked his head work - really good. No guard but really good head movement. Maybe he could lose a few pounds and be a real threat This content is protected This content is protected
I thought it was a great fight. Doherty could be a decent Euro level fighter at lightweight, theres def. a couple of pounds he could shift.
