Blinded many? Like who? Look around here, HOW MANY POSTERS call Taylor some ATG MW? Like....NONE? How many threads on his greatness? How many posts on how he'd beat Hagler? Zero? HBO's hype job must not work that great huh if no one on a message board full of fanboys is even buying it. If anyone is blinded, it's fans like you.

But **** poor performances vs who? Spinks? Everyone looks bad against Spinks, he is a defensive southpaw. Wright? He is one of the best defensive fighters of this era...UNARGUABLY!!! Hopkins? He is arguably the BEST fighter of this era (again arguably...)!!! Ouma? The guy is a former champ who fights EVERYONE tough!!!

Pisspoor performances from him? Then what do you call the performances of the other guys? **** Poorerer?????

    :huh

If Taylor looks good against lesser opponents, he's padding. If he looks bad in WINNING against top fighters, some P4P, he's **** poor. Go figure..

No because those guys beat him (not counting Ouma). And Spinks is not unbeatable. He was laid low by Zab, and has had some major chin issues.

    Where is JT's vaunted power??:think

In his past several fights, he's looked just plain bad. Did you not hear Steward yelling at Taylor during the Spinks fiasco?

How am I blinded? Can you even answer that? Or was that just your childish retort? I don't consider Taylor the best ever, nor do I buy the **** HBO says. So, who are all these people you said are blinded again?

Oh they all beat him? And of course, Mr. "I hope Taylor loses to teach him a lesson" is in no way making a statement out of personal hatred. Oh wait, you said you didn't hate him. You just want him to get knocked out to teach HBO a lesson...pathetic...:patsch

You are blind because you have continued to claim that I hate JT, when I have said on several occasions (including the opening post of this thread) that I do not hate him personally.

You either blind, or you just can't read.

    Or you're drunk, like me:D

Is there something wrong with teaching HBO a lesson? If he loses, it derails thier hype train, and all the money spent hyping him, and buying off those judges. This will make them much more tentative in developing a new hype train.

It will also show him that he cannot continue to fight like he has been and consider himself an elite fighter.

It works for everyone involved. :deal

good posts from sues2nd and lance. People ***** when other so called champs dont fight the best people available to them. Taylor always does, never complains and gives us the fights we want. Hell even in the draw with winky he said immediately after the fight that he would fight Wright again. Winky is the one that bitched out of that.

    Period.

Taylor deserves respect. Like sues2nd said, name me 3 other fighters that have a resume like he does in their past 6 fights. hell, I'll make it easier name me 2 champions that have a resume like his in their past 6 fights.

Pac, BHOP, DLH, Vazquez. But I agree, I never said JT was scared of anyone.

His handlers, on the other hand.....

His handlers aren't scared. If they're scared they wouldn't have put him against Hopkins when he was TOO new for a fight like that anyway, not just once but TWICE and right after it came Winky Wright. Yes, he did have 2 easy fights after 3 extremely difficult ones that but who doesn't?
Now he's set to fight an extremely tough challenger so either appreciate to have a champion who is very active and only seeks the best or beg for him to lose and when he does beg for someone like him to appear.
