It's not the best but excusable with such a good main event and not being a PPV! Sheeraz -- been impressed with him. Should get another win inside the distance. Catterall -- treading water fight. I was excited by him a few years ago but been in a few snooze fests and this could be another! Massey -- thought he was unlucky in his last fight. In with a guy with a 100% K.O. ratio so could be exciting and I see the opponent getting pushed by his team on social media so coming to fight at least The rest are all up and comers against journeymen. Heard Mitchell Barton is decent and he has his debut at heavyweight. Sure he used to be in Scotland but seems to be based down south now. Anyone see any upsets coming??
The odds are interesting. Sheeraz 1/20 Catterall 1/50 Massey 1/20 Mitchell 1/100 In normal circumstances I'd slaughter this sort of card but because the main event is not a PPV fight ... errrr I let it pass.
These two fights will be worth watching on the under card Jack Massey vs Mohammad Ali Bayat Farid (cruiserweight) David Adeleye vs Danny Whitaker (heavyweight) It could have done with a higher profile HW fight higher up on the undercard, given its a HW main event. But I cant complain as the main event should be great.
It would be easier to bear the mismatches if there wasn't a constant, desperate attempt from the in house commentary team at justifying them as 'learning fights'. This as some poor journeyman is gamely waddling forward to take his pummeling...
Not a good undercard but you know even with a rubbish undercard it would have been PPV if it was Matchroom.
Think this is part of the reason it’s not PPV. Queensbury don’t have the stable to pad out an undercard. would have needed a Yarde vs Arthur plus 2/3 other reasonably well known fighters to get close. suprised Frank doesn’t target the likes of Callum Johnson amongst others to try and pad his stable out. Yafai vs Edwards would have been a good co main.
Not great at all, but likewise can let it go. Glad it's not ppv especially in bizarre times without crowds. If there was no undercard I'd still be happy!
