[ame]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dUTzixEtOY0&feature=player_embedded[/ame] Duffee couldnt give Overeem enough praise. Dam them dudes are big! thats hilarious in the Duffee interview the translator translates for over a minute straight overeem's totally grounded and full of self belief duffee comes across as a good guy, obviously really hoping for more work in japan
Am i the only one that thinks Duffee put a **** load of money on The Reem to win by KO in the first? I'm not sure why else he would take this fight at short notice when he is carrying an injury? I think he wanted to get Kayo'd sharpish and collect... there is no other reason he would fight like a cat with bags over it's feet! Lynchburg
TBH I don't really know how the betting industry is working, but even if he would have put 1 million buck on the reem, he wouldn't have got that much more money !
Maybe not on that but... if he put money on The Reem to win by Kayo within the first 2 minutes he would have got at least 5/1... So on them odds £100K becomes £500K + £100K stake back = £600K! That bet would not look too dogey either due to the nature of the fighters... also Japan is well known for rigged bets! Sumo has had a big thing in the last 12 months! Lynchburg
The straight odds were in the neighborhood of Overeem -450 Duffe +350. There is no way in hell you are going to get 5:1 for a first round KO (or first two minutes). Particuarly if you are proposing laying down 100k.
Okay i'm sorry :tired I'm not a bookie but that was not my point. My point was even if he got 3/1 that is still good odds! I'm sure you could get 5/1 though for a bet like that as it has so many variables :dead Lynchburg
