honestly i don't know enough about escalante and am really going on what i know about dunne and his high level of competition and the skills he holds,by no means do i regard dunne as elite,he has little power,poor stamina and is not as good on the outside as he thinks.he has great footwork which often keeps him out of trouble and he starts fast often opening up a lead that can be see through his use of the jab,however he often gasses late on a struggles to maintain a high output as well as diminishing his defence,but from what i know i would still with a dunne UD. btw i think his dunne's last win against machado was superb on his comeback after the destruction he faced at the hands of kiko.
I'd like to see that fight sometime. I haven't checked for Dunne on youtube recently... I don't really see this fight happening any time soon, but I was going over a few Escalante highlights and the matchup popped into my head. Obviously at this point Dunne should be favored very strongly. I'm curious to see what Escalante can do with a Dunne KO victim tomorrow night.
