Duran & Benn sparring

    Does anybody know how old Duran was in this sparring exabition?

    36/37 years old. It was sometime during 1988. I have the footage on video. Benn doesn't wear head gear and Duran does. Some great footage of Duran hitting the speedball with his head and incredible skipping.

    The youtube footage is grainy,but it looks like Benn is going pretty hard while Duran is having fun slippin & Slidding.

    I have seen footage which is different from mines. They must have sparred a couple of times when Duran was over in 1988. Yeah, the footage I have is Duran taking some leather and working on a few things defensively. If I'm honest he's out of shape by a considerable margin.

    I have also some footage of Benn Sparring with Duran.. it indeed was 88, and at a similar time to when Tim Witherspoon came over here to fight Maurcio Villeagas... and John Tate boxed our own Noel Quarless..
