Pac would put forth a skillful effort...en route to being systematically dissected by Duran. Manny falls late.

Pacquiao is a better lightweight than DeJesus, so it's not impossible.

    I agree.

Forget near the quality of DeJesus, David Diaz isn't near the level of guys like Lampkin, Ishimatsu, Viruet, and Alfonso Frasier, all of whom DeJesus beat (not to mention Duran himself).

Pac isn't anywhere near proven enough above 130lbs to be compared to DeJesus. H2H, he probably isn't going to be thoroughly dominated by someone like Duran or DeJesus, but saying he's better than Esteban or that he could win is a stretch, at least as of now.

I think this is overstating it a bit though. First, you're not going to achieve a lot if you aren't good H2H, and second, I think he does fairly well against the field at 126 or 130, losing to the absolute best only. At 122 his speed, power, aggressiveness, and overall phsyicality make him at least a serious danger against anyone, and again, only the absolute best in the division's history are going to beat him.

His H2H ranking is a bit hurt by the fact that he has improved overall so much recently but is fighting at weights where most opponents are probably going to be a bit too big. Still, until we see what the future holds, we can't properly rate his H2H ability at 135 or 140.

How was the Hearns KO more brutal?

Hatton was out and had to be put in the recovery position, Duran was awake and moving within 30 seconds.

abit he was amazing but i want to see more from him at LWW to really get to see his potential as an ATG

the Hearns KO wasnt as brutal Duran got up, hatton was done for about 5-10mins and was gone

to me, when Hearns hit him Duran looked like he died on the spot,
Ricky just looked like he was a hit by a punch, if that makes sense.
you do make a point about Hatton on the floor for a couple minutes, i forget about that part.

Don't be daft, Duran wasn't that kind of puncher. He'd wear him down and stop him late.
