Only 20 some odd fights and yet he fought the best in the world during his four year career.

Cesar Chavez, LaPorte, Meldrick Taylor, Jaime Garza among others. His chin seemed never to fail him, as he was never stopped though he regularly lost against world class opposition.

    Anyone remember him?

I remember him well as an amateur, was surprised at his meteoric rise as a pro. Totally agree, one of the great jaws in boxing.

Just how good do you feel his chin is?

Well, considering that in his grand total of 24 pro fights he fought 6 world champs without a dent was pretty good. I re-checked him out on boxrec and it stated that Mario Miranda put him down during their fight. I have no recollection of the fight and can't comment, but it did say Miranda -who was a big banger- could only collect a majority decision from Pratchett over 12 rounds for Pratchett's NABF title. Again, for only 24 fights his comp was pretty good.
