Really want Howard to win this. He deserves one more win against a decent opponent before he ends a career which could have supplied so much more.

I new a familiar name was coming once I saw how excited Jabby(a guy who's part of Duddy's management team that posts on boxrec) was about the upcomming fight .

A prime Eastman would of taken Duddy to pieces , but this current version doesn't seem to have that much left and although he will find Duddy whenver he does throw that won't be enough and he will be outworked .

If Eastman can't knock Duddy out he'll lose a(reasonably close) decision .

Eastman just never had enough workrate , now that he's old that problem has become even worse and he relies on his class for about 0:30 of a round now and his wiley experience for 2:30 but it's just not enough .

Eastman deserves one more big win and could pull this one off. But he has to train properly and not do his usual week and a half with Robert McCracken. If he comes into the fight in the same shape he fought Richard Williams he has a real chance.

Dangerous fight. Eastman doesn't give a **** so has never fufilled his potential. Duddys strength, power and chin will be tested. A bit risky considering he might have PAvlik next. Props for him slowly moving up in opposition. I respect that.

It will be the same old Eastman doing nothing for most of the fight. He will lose.

VERY VERY VERY risky.Almost stupid infact. His handlers either have under estimated Eastman or they really think Duddy is that good - which he isnt. Duddy is no more than a middleweight Gatti and i fear he may have blown his chance vs Pavlik as Eastman is a very live opponent despite his recent performances.

Kind of see where your coming from with this one but Duddy is more hype than substance. The boy has a chin can punch and has balls but his boxing skills are sorely lacking. He takes licks for no real reason.Eastman has a solid chin and can bang.If somones getting KO`ed -if Eastman throws whilst in the cup- it will be Duddy by late TKO.

Is a risky one for Duddy, particularly with a potential big fight on the horizon. Eastman is very frustrating, and had all the tools to win a world title but his work ethic let him down.

He's obviously on the decline, but he still has a decent bang and chin.

I can easily see Duddy winning on points, but could also see Eastman stopping him in the second half of the fight.

I give him more of a chance beating Pavlik that Eastman due to styles.

He would have a chance of catching Pavlik early but Eastman will just out box him, same if Duddy fought Taylor or Abraham!

    Its an interesting prospect

Eastman is a steady test for any contender. It will give us a clearer indication of what Duddy is capable of, many already seem to have him pinned as a hype, id tend to side with the majority in saying hes nothing special but if he gets a good win against Howard then expect a world title shot in the near future

I actually think Duddy is a good prospect. He may be outboxed by the best, but if you stand in front of Duddy he can mix it up well, & Pavlik would be the perfect opponet style wise. I would give Duddy a chance against Pavlik if the they met. As for Eastman, thats a dangerous fight for different reasons. Although Howard appears to be past it, hes still a wily old campaigner with a solid chin & good boxing skills. A test for Duddy, cos if howard is fit he could jab & run & steal a decision if Duddy doensnt get in his face & put him out of his rythm from the first bell.

Duddy vs Eastman would be good, a nice way for us to judge where he is at right now. I would pick Duddy to win but it would be damm tight.
