and to top it off Ward can't even get him outta there, plus he
himself is fighting off balance alot. Way overrated is Ward.

ward dd excellent... almost KO'd him in round 11

froch might as well retire after the groves fight... he has even last chance than he did in the first fight if they have a rematch

That's why I expected Ward to get a stoppage win, still an excellent performance though.

Ward can only beat who is put in front of him. The SMW and LHW divisions are a bit empty at the moment but in a few years may have bigger challenges

I think he didn't do himself justice vs Ward. He just tried to go for broke, as he saw a KO the only way he could have beaten Ward. Put him in against a different opponent and he'd look a lot better.

People need to realize, not many can control the constant aggression of Rodriguez like Ward could. Ward put the shackles on Rodriguez, I don't see Kessler, Froch, Direll... being able to do that. I think Edwin might very well be the second best SMW in the division, the opponent and the circumstances did him in.

Silly talk. Froch will push Ward to the limit in a rematch.

Agreed, all but Rodriguez being the 2nd best in the division. He'd give any other guy all they could handle though, but I think he'd lose to Froch.

Tells you the quality of the smw if Rodriguez is third best fighter there.
Ward is currently fighting in DEAD DIVISION, the worst division in boxing.

    Rodriguez was horrid.

Before Ward fan boys goes denial I am not criticizing Ward, I tihnk he will be great fighter if isnt already.

I guess it remains to be seen. Rodriguez showed a tremendous chin and took Ward's best shot, something that Dawson couldn't do. Rodriguez also showed power in previous fights. I don't see how Froch could beat him TBH. Rodriguez is not only the stronger and bigger fighter, but also, the guy with the wider arsenal of punches. He'd definitely have the upper hand on the inside while on the outside, really, it's 50/50. I think he's a bit quicker than Froch and when he uses it, has a jab just as good.
