    Use Paragraphs.

    Use commas, and full stops.

I could not even get through 5 lines of that

    Yep.

I enjoyed watching Carl in the ring, but the moment he is out of it he HAS TO BE the biggest ***** in UK Boxing.

    A VERY unlikeable man.

For me as a person someone's personality does influence whether I will support them or not. I will naturally give someone with less ability who is a decent person more time of day than a world class *****. As you say I know the likes of Burns aren't the most talented but I will get behind them and really hope hey win. On the other hand the likes of Froch I am not ashamed to say I wanted him to lose at times because of his personality. This goes for people like the Degale of a few years ago, Eubank jr etc. I'm pretty sure if I could remember 90s boxing I would have felt the same about Eubank Sr and Prince Naseem. It's just the way I am, I detest arrogance and brashness. Despite this, I don't let dislike get in my way of my respect for them as a fighter.

I didn't mind Eubank Sr. too much at the time, though I prefered Benn.
I thought Prince Naseem was funny, didn't take him too seriously.
Lennox Lewis's arrogance annoyed me, but he's actually an intelligent and sensible person.

I guess being humble isn't often conducive to being a great fighter.

Look at Hatton. wasn't the best technically but gave his all in the ring, didn't say a bad word about anyone and in between fights he was down the pub. old school. no one had a bad word to say about Ricky and I'm sure he had the biggest following in British boxing ever the fact that he acted like this got him the love from the fans.

Ricky Hatton great example guy loves by public again probably overachieved no doubt guy was a fantastic fighter but you think level himself and floyd at miles apart and ppl thought he had chance
But he got support because even though he knew he was a great fighter champion etc he wasn't a **** people rooted for him where as froch as good as he was comes across arrogant bellend who didn't get his calzaghe fight and didn't fight degale or ggg at his peak He slates groves but same time he should be wanting him win ,if he loses inferior opposition ppl will say he's crap and doesn't look that great a win. TBf Kessler always be his biggest win groves in his prime vs Kessler would have lost and badly

The prob with Froch now is that he still wants to talk like a fighter without backing it up. It's all well and good saying that he'd still beat Golovkin but if he's not up for proving it then he should pipe down.

I found Hatton kind of irritating, he played the humble card but his ego was massive, I think that's why he took the Pacquiao loss so bad. to be fair it was devastating but his ego could barely take it, that loss nearly killed him. I don't dislike Hatton but feel he is a bit of a fake. He wasn't close to winning against Mayweather or Pac but when he talks about those fights I hear a lot of excuses instead of being more humble about it, yeah fighters do that but the way Hatton talks he thought he had it in the bag "I was winning by a country mile in that second round against Pacquiao", must have got hit harder than he thought.

A fighters personality will effect if I am a fan regardless of how good they are. I respect great fighters like Mayweather but hope someone can humble them. Lewis irritated me because I never heard him say a good thing about an opponent, total arrogance but most people think he is humble for some reason, I don't like it when a fighter beats a past it former champ and tries to get credit for beating the prime version of that fighter, which is kind of what he does with Tyson, "people wanted to know who the best was", but didn't prove anything? what did Tyson say about Holmes "that wasn't the real Holmes, I wouldn't have stood a chance". Guys like Ali have the charisma to pull the arrogance off, the rest come across as charmless a holes.

I try and keep the fighter and his personality separate.

Froch was a tough man, dangerous fighter with a very good resume who had a lot of heart. Outside the ring, however he does not come across well, loves himself and goes about a lot of things the wrong way

Chris Eubank Snr is a very odd character indeed, but one hell of a fighter.

Andre Ward does not have a very good following, however he is one of the best fighters to step in between the ropes.

As fighters I like all these guys.

Outside the ring they would probably be very hard to get on with I imagine.

    Agreed.

I mean, the man posted up a picture of GGG with a caption "too big" and retired the next day.

The man just loves attention. Twat.

The thing with Hatton is that he LOVES to paint himself as the "lad next door" type, yet he has TWENTY MILLION to his name.

I don't know any people like that with that much money.

Agreed about Tyson. He said he'd have no chance against Ali in a video years ago, and he doesn't say that out of being humble. He just speaks his mind.
