In the modern day period say 2000-2003 where we had guys like Fernando Vargas, Tito, Winky Wright, Harry Simon, Daniel Santos and David Reid pretty much at the height of their powers Also with greats like De la Hoya and Mosley making visits to the weight. How would he go against all these guys? Smash them all or only some of them?
I certainly can't favor any of them. Tito's power would be the only thing that would make the matchup interesting. Still, he lacked the footwork and overall skills to deal with Griffith.
As with Sweet Pea, I'd take Griffith over all of them. Trinidad has the power to land some damaging blows and potentially stop Griffith, but Emile was a level above Trinidad in pretty much every way excluding power, and he would win a wide decision. Wright could prove to be difficult at his best, but Emile's movement and combination punching would allow him to take a comfortable win.
