does anyone else seem to notice that alot of Emmanuel Stewards fighters lose. Im not trying to downplay Stewards fighters, or his training skills , but being that great it just seems like all his fighters either leave him or have questionable skills. I'm not saying all his fighters from the past , but the most recent ones. Do you guys think its him or his fighters. Any Opinions?

Have you watched any fighters that Buddy McGirt happens to be training?

LOL at McGirt. Steward record as a trainer / cornerman is very good.

yeah Buddy Mgirt seems to have never won a fight lol. Steward seems like a very knowledgable guy but again it depends on the reltationship with trainer/boxer.

I think Buddy McGirt also faces this same problem. When you only train top level fighters, who fight primarily only other top level guys, the fights are going to be tougher to win.

It is much easier to put together win streaks fighting on undercards and on ESPN, than it is in title fights.

manny steward's ego is too huge for him to be the trainer that he can be. He shits all over his fighters when they lose and takes no credit when a fighter doesn't reach their potential.

Not sure what point you're trying to make here peeps. Fighter's win and lose no matter who the trainer is. I respect Manny as a trainer and he certainly helped J Taylor look more like a skilled fighter - he can't shape a fighter's character.

Look at this another way: a hall of fame trainer joins forces with an up and coming fighter or established champ. After a reasonable amount of time together the knowledgeable trainer concludes that the fighter in his charge is nothing more than average. Should the trainer abandon ship or should he do his utmost to safeguard the fighter's stock value by seeing through the arrangement.

Just some food for thought - I'm not saying this is true but what's to say it isn't.
