Why does this homie still fight bums? He looks like he could compete for a title but his opposition is very weak. Homie is already in his late 20's. When he steps up his competition what happens?
Lara is one of the best Cubans at the moment. He has been fighting weak opposition as of lately but he has fought and defeated some pretty tough boxers already like Brewster, Garcia etc. I don't know why they are feeding him D opposition lately, the kid is ready to take the World Title as of right now!
He could beat any of the current belt holders at 154. I'd pick him over all the beltholders at 160 besides Martinez

Because nobody will fight him. It is hard to fight other good opposition when guys like Martyrosian, Cotto, Angulo, Cintron, etc. won't fight him for fear of losing.
Lara already the best 154 pound but dont bring many fans and PPV buyers. They cant avoid him forever but we might have to wait 8-12 months at most before he get a big fight eliminator/interim or real real title fight
