    I just don’t understand why.

    After that Degale win he could have rode a wave in the UK.

    Sign with Hearn you’ve got Ryder and Fielding both winnable fights to start you off and would be relatively big nights. Come through that and you’re on a straight path to Callum Smith.

    Sign with Warren then you’ve got the Saunders fight.

    Sign with PBC fight some unknown Americans at stupid o’clock in the morning and your home base starts forgetting about you.

    Think the idea was for him to be on the ITV shows but that seems to have gone on hold. PBC do have Benavidez, The Dirrels, Jackson, Traux and Plant on the books.

    All tied up for now though aren’t they. Plant will then face winner of Quillin and Truax. Benavidez/Dirrell have apparently got to face Smith next according to the WBC. So potentially a year away from any of them fights.
