Just been announced that this is in the early stages of being made for the feb show.

A good fight , think it's a lot more even now that we know a little more about Eubank & what he can do..

Talk about striking whilst the iron is hot ..! Was a little worried he'd maybe be matched with a few to get a couple of wins, but in this case that's defo not the case.

What's the score with dmitry & his "interim" title, does he still have that? Either way a win for Chris will no doubt do him a deal of good in WBA rankings - though I doubt that's the route they'll take long term, wbo with either lee or billy joe is more realistic.

To be honest I'm new to the boxing scene with only taking interest within the last 3 years, so I've followed Eubank JR from around his 2nd/3rd fight iirc.

Was disappointed with his performance in the first 6 rounds or so vs BJS but that's another story. After having a look at Chudinovs record so far imo he has more experience that Eubank JR over less fights due to the quality of opposition so this fight for me would will define my opinion on how far Eubank can go.

Interested in everyones opinion though, what will Team Eubank do if he is defeated in his next fight? For me JR has to get rid of the father, go as far as approaching adam booth.

Obviously no opponent confirmed but various names rumoured Spike O'Sullivan etc.

Yeh I see what your saying re the first 6 rds , think that's a lot of peoples views also.

And yeah it will be an interesting fight if it's made - not sure where he'd go after a loss - as he's clearly stating he doesn't want to be sitting around at domestic level.

Which is a shame as there is a good few fights out there, Blackwell, etches & as you say spike..!

Though I think he'll be looking to by pass all the domestic / euro titles to go in search of the world honours - let's hope he manages a few wins and get BJS in a massive fight..!

A much tougher opponent then expected for Eubanks Jr.

Chudinov is ranked number 1 by the WBA and 15 by Boxrec. Dmitry can be a bit hit and miss in his fights but when he's on form he can be pretty damn good.

This fight will show us whether Eubank Jr is going anywhere at World level boxing.

Tbh I wouldn't say a loss for Chris would mean there is no future for him at world level, as he's pretty much looking to gate crash the scene as it is.

He's proved he's the required potential to cause a stir a little further down the line, and by beating dmitry - he'd show he firmly belongs at world level..

It's a big call to be matched in this way & seriously hope it pays off for him.

Chudinov has been managed right, he poses little threat. It will be one of those fights where Eubank is made to go out there and win every round comfortably.

Credit to Eubank for taking a tough bounce back fight rather than another Polish bum.

No way does he win this. Chudinov via UD.

Would love it to end by KO, can't stand Eubank Jr and his senile, deluded, overrated, monocle-wearing old man.
