No less than 60.000 suckers?! Damn!
So that means that the Aussie dude got massively underpaid with his £44k.

Getting paid 44k for a PPV fight is criminal no matter how many buys

ITV were probably the big winners, Eubanks previous purses have been very low so can't imagine he got a fortune.

Problem I think they now have is unless there is a significant step up in opponent how do you grow the sales and secondly how do you justify any price increase.

We'll get the same **** from people too

"It's no worse than the Matchroom ones!"
    "It's only a tenner!"
"You don't care about boxing if you aren't willing to pay"

Twitter has been full of this. Don't get me wrong, on paper it was actually a decent card and I did enjoy watching it (but I didn't pay...). Enjoying a card and it being 'decent' is not justification for it to cost more! If this turns out to have been a financial success for ITV, there will be more like this and it's unlikely they'll do better cards knowing they'll sell anyway.

Thought it would be about 50k.....

Fairly low overheads so not a bad starter I guess, and there was plenty of press the next day also. Will only improve, would love to know how much Price and Hammer got. Surely it had to be at least double what Quinlan got, so around £100k each?

Quinlan earnt every penny of his purse, and really was worth 3 x more.

Jr's purse goes straight into Sr's bank account. Jr gets £10 per week pocket money.

There's no way either Price or Hammer got close to 100k, that's a very big purse for them.

Dave Allen got 9k for fighting Luis Ortiz, Tarver turned down a "big" offer according to Hearn to fight Whyte which turned out to be 90k - just for comparisons.

ITV will of lost money on this. Purses of card will of been over 400k all marketing costs, venue etc wont be covered by the buys or Tickets/sponsors.

If they could make Groves Vs Eubank Jr for WBA/IBO Or Degale fight theyd do 400-500k buys @£15 a pop easy enough with an half decent undercard.

the Quinlan fight was comedy for PPV should of been free on ITV

£9k. Really? Surely he got more than that.
