Tut tut tut, how many times must you be told ?

    We need facts not opinion.

Please explain why Groves is the biggest puncher Froch has ever faced, I don't remember Groves stopping any opponent of note, and seems to have suddenly become a monster puncher overnight based purely on dropping Froch.

Prior to fighting Groves, Bute had stopped all but 5 or 6 opponents.

Kessler has a decent KO percentage.

Abraham was alledgedly a murderous puncher.

Froch had won almost all his fights by KO until he stepped up a level.

    Facts > opinion

exactly GG has got power but no more then Carl has ever faced, as I've explained before the punch that put him down was near on perfect. Doubt he will throw that again

    Wasn't close to a KO?

Froch has even said himself his lights went out for a split second... in fact he doesn't have to tell you that you can see it for yourself from the footage.

Then when he got up, his legs weren't fully there and he stumbled back into the ropes.

Then when Groves went at him again for the remaining few seconds he had him very ragged.

Froch has an iron chin no two ways about it, but like it's been said before he's lucky there wasn't longer left in that first round.

Name someone who hits harder then Groves at SMW then?

Look what he done to Sierra, Smith, Gonzales, he put them to SLEEP!

When have you actaully seen Froch put anyone to sleep? They have all been accumulation stoppages:hi:

Groves hasn't stopped anybody thats anywhere near World level.

    Sierra, Smith, Gonzalez ? :rofl

Show me the post where i've said Froch is a one punch KO speacialist.

Shall i go and drag up the 100's of posts i've made, where i've highlighted the fact that Froch is a fighter who stops opponents on an accumulation of punches ?

How many people predicted Groves by KO prior to the first fight ?

I actually agree with Terry on a lot of things, but we are worlds apart on Froch.

Which acutally I do find strange as most poeple who have boxed or been in the industry hugely respect Froch. They may not like him as a person but they respect him. I'm surprised Terry doesn't being a boxing man

I would agree, but Terry being a 'boxing man' was all smoke and mirrors

Basically, he lied about being a boxer. First he was a pro boxer, then he had to stop due to injury, now it turns out all he ever did was hit his pillow fists on the heavy bag a few times

I suppose that means we are all boxers :think

Turns out Fibbs was just a fake coward with a fake phone number

I for one predicted groves by stoppage before the first bout and was very nearly correct. Not straight KO but I was banking on a TKO of some sort, frochs chin is too good

Cant say i saw it coming at all, i 'predicted' Groves to have the better start and Froch to wear him down and stop him in the 9th BUT not in the manner in which it all happened at all so im not pretending i saw Groves fighting the way he did. I mean more Froch being cagey and jabbing more but Groves having early success then a legit KO/Soppage coming later. Didnt think Groves would dominate the way he did early on nor the controversy which followed.

As for the rematch...i just cannot call it

If you did, then your in a very select club, as most who fancied Groves thought he'd outbox Froch.

My prediction was Froch by TKO in round 8, i also said i thought he'd lose the early rounds, and may get tagged, although i didn't think he'd get dropped.

What makes my **** boil is the amount of people who've jumped on the bandwagon since the first fight. All of a sudden Groves is the hardest hitting SMW in the World, and Frochs chin is suspect ?

If Froch was that close to being KO'd in the first round the big punches that followed would of finished him off. He took the following shots with no signs of going down.

His lights went out for a second and his legs were not all there.
But don't think he was that close to being finished.

WEll you dont go down if your legs are fully there. But no, as far as knock downs go this was fairly innocuous. It won't happen again.

Froch wins the rematch easily. Georgie and his fanboys are going to look very, very silly.
