I understand FIVE have an interest in Primetime. Therefore the reason Tyson Fury v Dereck Chisora was on FIVE was to promote Khan v Judah. Mick won the purse bids but does not have TV backing. If Frank had won the fight would have been on SKY. If Primetime had done a double-header of Fury/ Chisora and Khan/Judah they would struggle to get the necessary buys. So put the attractive British heavyweight fight which starts at 10pm on FIVE and use it to advertise Primetime. Mega publicity. If Fury/Chisora is successful then it's win-win. Hopefully this is not a one off scheme from FIVE. Maybe the success of Fury/ Chisora will encourage them to broadcast more boxing. Did I see adverts for Khan's fight on Primetime without the PPV price? If I'm mistaken then I apologize.
I hope 5 do start showing more fights, primetime need to sort themselves out though. They made my night into a farce.Spent hours on the phone as all I got was a blue screen. They sorted it in time for Khan(just).Prob with the machine that takes the orders. The customer service is shocking, nobody seems to know what they are doing. Maybe if 5 buy primetime things will improve.
